Been a few days.....or week....or so. Nice to be back though, happy to be able to write down my thoughts for you to read, criticize or make fun of me. Whichever.
There was something I wanted to go over, but with a couple of things that have happened, I think I will start there. Lets start with something that I consider to be the lesser of the two issues at hand.
1) Amy Winehouse passes away. Honestly, while I do not want to sound like a heartless douche, but i really do not care. She was a drugged-out-drunk-on-her-ass train wreck. I feel bad for her friends and family for their loss, but I just cannot bring myself to care, to have any sympathy. Wasn't a fan of her music, was not a fan of her.
2) The Norway bombing / shootings. WTF Norway? If you have not heard about this, check the news, read a paper, look for it on the net. Some loon in Norway (with a full manifesto) started his day by bombing a Federal building in Norway, killing seven people. He then used the distraction this created, to find his way to an island with a youth camp on it, and proceed to kill 90+ kids. From witness accounts, he was laughing as he went. I will take a minute to point out that he had a couple of hours before police showed up.
Sigh....things like this make me want to vomit.
I will be back sooner than later, and hopefully with happier things to talk about.
Just take a minute to pray or pass along your condolences to those affected by this disgusting attack.
Re: Amy Winehouse... I agree with you 100%. There are consequences to drinking excessively and taking illegal drugs in excess. One of those consequences is Death... everyone knows that.
ReplyDeleteIt's like Ryan Dunn(?) The jackass guy? Anyway... people were all mad because I had no sympathy for him. I'm sorry but if you're drunk and going 180MPH, I'm not saying you DESERVE to die, but you certainly don't deserve my sympathy when you do.
